~ Surprise CA visit ~

I had a Great weekend this past weekend, because I got to go visit my BFF Jenny for her Birthday in SD. Her husband surprised her & flew me down to San Diego for the weekend for her present.

We had a fun day hanging out in thier nice back yard, enjoying some cocktails...

That night we went out dancing...

Had a barb-Q & some drinks..

Thanks to this great husband of hers we had a fun weekend...& I Miss THEM!!

~ He Is Running .....~

Hunter started running on the 4th of July!!! He ran & ran & ran!! The family got a Day Pass to leave the hospital for a couple of hours. It was a GREAT DAY for them!!

Talking is still challenging for him a bit & his Rt arm is going to be stubborn!!

~ Hunter Update ..a Week later~

As of Friday this is the "1 week later" update :

Hunter can talk and carry conversations, it is just frustrating for him because it all doesn't come out as he wants (with time Hunter, with time babe) !! He is working with a Speech Therapist daily...he is making great progress..I have talked to him 3 times & he is in great spirits!!

He is still as sweet as ever too... :)

He has walked with support from the Physical Therapy it is all moving forward but is taking time. Baby Steps...Baby Steps!!

From what I hear he rode the bike today in P/T (some kind of bike they have in there). ..awsome news for the family!!

His Right Hand is still not working much at all but we all pray that will happen with time (they said it will take the longest)..He is working 3 to 4 hours in P/T & O/T along with "school" is what they call it I guess at the hospital...it is some learning games & whatever else.

He will be out of the hospital on Thursday July 8th.

Back to school is in August & he will be going into 4th grade.

The Dr's have said he will not need a wheel chair when he goes back...they are all staying positive & it seems to be going well for him.

The family already had a Family trip planned to Hawaii before the accident & they along with the Dr's have all decided if they ALL want to go then they all should go!! So they are leaving the day he gets out of the hospital to Hawaii for 2 weeks to follow through with thier summer vacation...they may have to do some adjustments to the plans such as a jogger stroller to get him around ,or a wheel chair, but they are looking forward to getting him out of the hospital & continue moving forward on the Beaches of Hawaii! What a recovery place!!

I think Rainbows are soo neat..I am always taking pictures of them. This one was last weekend after a really cool storm that came through for like 2 hours. After the rain stopped we saw this amazing rainbow over our houses.

There is acctually 2 rainbows next to each other.

~ Get Well Hunter ~

Please pray for our dear friends Steve & Jody & thier family as they are going through a rough time right now .

Little Hunter was accidentally shot in the head right above the eye brow with an arrow by his twin brother Taylor . He is currently paralyzed on his right side. He can not walk right now & can only faintly mumble a couple words as of now..it is all a waiting game as he recovers. He is in our thoughts & prayers as his out come is unknown at this time, but if you know Hunter he is a tough cookie & he is a smart little boy. We know that he will try his hardest to do all the Dr.'s & nurses tell him to do to make the strongest recovery possible. He is a little warrior. Be a fighter Hunter!! We are thinking & rooting for you buddy all the way!!

Yesterday we went swimming at Crystal & Bruce's house & Chad taught Cam how to swim exactly like Cade learned! So she is almost swimming now with no floaties!!

~ Mema's Visit to Colorado

My Mom came to visit for a week to catch some soccer games & some baseball games...well that did not work out as planned since a huge storm cam thru here & most of the games were cancelled. But she was able to catch a little bit of the tournaments before it go cancelled!

Once again ...that Crazy Colorado weather!!

we were able to see some soccer at the end of her trip, when the weather went back to normal!

We went & saw the New Karate Kid!! It is Awsome!!

Here is our cute little USA team for the 3 v 3 league that just started. We got them the official World cup uniforms for their team uniforms & they are so cute...Cade is really into the World cup !!
